Welcome to Obelix & Co.

Obelix & Co Charcuterie and Delicatessen was established in 2014 by chef’s Lachie McCallum & Kirsty Laird. With over 50 years’ experience between them, they have created a range of charcuterie, take home meals and accompaniments using sustainably sourced meat, wild game and local produce. Pates, soups, ragus, pickles & chutneys are in returnable glass jars, terrine & sausages in home compostable packaging and minimal further packaging help minimise the impact the business has on the environment.

More recently they have opened “Petit Bouchon”, a French inspired bistro & wine bar within the retail space – a place to feel at home, forget where you are & transport you to another place – ‘Bonjour Lyon!’.

Expect to see charcuterie, offal, wild game & sustainable seafood such as carp presented in a selection of small plates and snacks best enjoyed with friends. Petit Bouchon is a small intimate space where you can choose either a streetside table, one by the open fire or in the glass roofed atrium.

The playful, thoughtful, creative menu and all Victorian wine & beer list coupled with casual homely service make it a great place for date night or catching up with a group of friends.
